PIONEER QUILTING "We Quilt Yesterdays Memories, Today" |
My name is Libby Scott and I live in Jonesborough Tn with my husband Dana. I have 3 sons Justin, Dustin, & Bryson. I have a three grand-daughter Kaylee, Mikayla, & Kenzie, and my nephew Hunter who I kept for my sister until he went to school. He was my little helper and my customers loved for him to be here when they came by. I opened for business October 10, 2000. I had been quilting for another lady for 1 year and bought the machine I used from her. I have my business in the lower part of my house. I have loved to make things since I was 15 years old. My aunts grand-mother, Mrs Loyd hand quilted every winter and I would love to sit and watch her and listen to her stories of growing up. I want to do the best work I can. I want to be happy with what I quilt or make for you. When I started I only did machine quilting and then I saw the need to make quilts for other people because they do not like to sew. So I offer this service to the non-sewers. I love to make memory quilts for my customers. Some of them have lost someone special or they want to have a memory quilt made for a special occasion. My memory quilt can be photos, t-shirts or clothes or other items they have kept. So look at some of my memory quilts that I have made for my customers. I really love what I do and the people I meet.
